Tanya's CNY clothes and accessories.
We've prepared some new clothes for Tanya for CNY 2011. Some are actually kept for some times since she is "super small size". check out below for some of her clothes.
And here are some of her many-pairs-of-shoes that she had. I think she is shoesaholic just like mummy. Whenever we bought her to mall, she will sure run into a shoes's shop ( doesn't matter adult/ children shoes). then she will pick a few and start to fit to her foot.

My 21 months and 30 weeks :)
It has been a while since my last blog. I was so exausted recently that I have to carry Tom at the same time work/ take care of Tanya. Tom is weighting about 1kg++, fall in the normal range while Tanya was fall in the "under-weight" range last time. I felt relief since Tom is at least having the normal weight, as a boy, i hope he can grow and born stronger/ heavier.
Now i have to attend to my gynae every 3 weeks and the frequency will increase when closer to the delivery date. i only hope it won't fall excatly in CNY day 1, 2 or 3. Dr. Low will be out of town and i really hope he can help to deliver my 2nd baby as well.
The 30 weeks Tom likes to kick, much more often compare to his sister last time. I bet he must be a very active boy in future :) Can't wait to meet my little boy in person.
The 21 months Tanya is now sick ( down with flu). both mummy and Tanya are sick now, and she is staying with grandma and hopefully she will recover soon. We brought her to Dr. Khaw last night and brought her to see the largest X'mas tree in Penang @ Straits Quay - The new shopping complex near Island Plaza which had just open pass few weeks. ( i'll try to capture some photos and upload here next time i go, since Tanya not really enjoy last night due to flu).
She can now speaks.... or more suitable - express herself with simple words, like 没有 when her Barney show or Madargasca movie finished. She is the apple of her dad's eyes now and ping hun just started to worry her princess-like's life will be ended real soon when her little brother is going to deliver soon at Feb 2011. haha.
We're now trying to set up a bigger bed for her at the same time her old baby cod can be use by Tom in near future. Hopefully i can get the shopping done by tonight and let her sleep at her new bed when i fetch her home this coming Wednesday. check out below photo, it's Tanya first blanket that we bought for her few months back from QueensbayMall.

教育孩子，聪明父母只做三件事
父母对待孩子无外乎三种情况：一是事事管、时时管，做了很多事，效果却不好;二是什么都不管，什么都不做，放任自流，不闻不问，结果更不好;三是也管但不全管，做得不多，但都切中要害，孩子成长一帆风顺。
显然，“什么都做”和“什么都不做”都过于极端，失之偏颇，并不可取。杰出的父母从来都选择“有所为有所不为”，更明确地说，只做三件事。
第一件事：培养良好的亲子关系 好的关系胜过许多教育。父母什么时候与孩子关系好，对孩子的教育就容易成功;什么时候与孩子关系不好，对孩子的教育就 容易失败。而建立良好的亲子关系，其关键在于“定位”：
1、不当“法官”，学做“律师”
有些父母看到孩子出了问题，便迫不及待地当起了“法官”，这是很危险的。孩子的内心世界丰富多彩，父母要积极地影响与教育孩子，不了解其内心世界便无从谈起。而了解孩子的第一要诀是呵护其自尊，维护其权利，成为其信赖和尊敬的朋友。即父母对待孩子，要像“律师”对待自己的当事人一样，了解其内心需求，并始终以维护其合法权利为惟一宗旨。
2、不当“裁判”，学做“拉拉队”
在人生竞技场，孩子只能自己去努力。父母既无法替代孩子，也不该自作主张去当“裁判”，而应该给予孩子一种保持良好竞技状态的力量，即“拉拉队”的力量。这样更能帮助孩子建立自信心，而这正是家庭教育的核心任务. 父母做孩子的“拉拉队”，既要善于发现和赞美孩子，还要引导孩子正确面对失败，在挫折前做孩子的战友。
3、不当“驯兽师”，学做“镜子”
孩子只有认识自己才能战胜自己，但他们通常只能依据他人的反馈来认识自己，这时父母的“反馈”作用即镜子的作用就很重要了。不做“驯兽师”，学做“镜子”，才能帮助孩子提高自我意识，才能让孩子不害怕父母的“权威”，转而和父母沟通。
教育是三分教，七分等。“等一等”是很有用的。比如我们被蚊子叮一下，不管它，很快就会没事，若总去挠，却要很长时间才能好。原因就是人体有一定的自我治愈功能，被蚊子叮一下自己很快就会好，施加外力只会适得其反。
教育也是这个道理。停下来，等一等，给孩子倾诉的机会，和孩子有效地沟通，不用教育就能解决问题。

New progress of Tanya
She is now 17 months old and able to do the below, and maybe more that i haven't figure out........ :)
- Dancing..include hand, body and head coordination. She especially like Jazz music, like Santa Baby and Michael Buble’s songs.
- Eat Lollipop. She rebut rebut the lollipop with her daddy after her first try while we travel back from KL.
- Do her mouth mouth and eye eye…means can do weird expression by doing her mouth and eyes.
- Do a lot of funny sound, like fart sound….puttt….and pronounce cat’s sound~ miao* and tiger sound~ wooouuu..
- Scold people especially gong gong and tua ku..this one already learn many months ago.
- Climbing..include my dining chair…it’s so high and dangerous but she still do it like Spider man.
- 撒娇~ her favorite act especially to daddy.
- Can pronounce daddy, 婆婆, apple, 舅舅 clearly , but just refuse to call mummy, mama or mimi :(
- Can pronounce bird, apple, book clearly when see the object. ( and also orange as “ah chi”)
- Can sing...but nobody knows what she is singing.
- Love me a lot recently, will look for me every Sunday morning since I'd need to go to work at the morning.
- Can draw/ conteng-conteng on the little white board (magnetic type) which given by 奶奶.
- Shout really loud now, which we thought the embarrassment of infant's shouting in public won't happen to us few months ago.
- Still drink 5 ounce milk, which my friend'ss new born baby is also drinking 5 ounce.
- Eat everything, except spicy food.
- have 12 teeth...4 at the top front, 4 at the top back, 2 at the bottom front, and 2 at the bottom back. another 2 coming out soon at the bottom front :)
- Throw things out from Balcony. Aw...... I hate this most.
- Fight back when tua ku or gong gong mess with her.
- Likes bubbles.
- Likes Japanese food.
- Like her “putt putt” shoes the most cause can produce putt putt sound. She will purposely step harder when she is wearing the shoes.
- Mimic gong gong’s 奸笑 with the “ha ha” sound.
- Show her teeth and comb her hair whenever mummy sing “ this is the way i….brush my teeth / comb my hair”
- Super 爱美…whenever see mummy applying cream on face, she insisted she must have some as well. Same goes to body lotion.
- Love Barney shows a lot.
- Will kiss everyone’s tummy ( include her own one) whenever I say “ sayang baby”
- Will let u smell her dummy when u said “臭臭” and laugh happily.
- When she don’t feel like sleeping but you've put her on the bed, she will do multiple things to you like pick your nose, let you smell her legs, use her little fingers to “open” your eyes.....etc..
- Very keypo..whenever I do laundry, she wanted to help me to put wet clothes into dryer.
- 会说”好”........
- Whenever I call, she must be the one who pick up the phone and say nothing except “mmmm.......ar” - the kissing sound
- Can do freezing’s expression.
- Love swimming pool. Will jump into the pool if no one watching.
- Likes to play with other kids which she refuse to do so months ago.
- Etc
- Etc….etc…

Morning Sickness is killing me
I do have this really really bad morning sickness now. The feeling of vomitting never stop no matter it's morning, noon or night. Now is even worse that i will sometime woke up at mid night, feeling wanna vomit. :'( Last night, i had to get myself a Ricola candy in my mouth to avoid this kind of "loya" feeling appear at my throat.
The food that i love most is Newlane "loh mee" now. That's the only food that i can finish eating. Sweet stuff, as usual is the one that can cheer me up sometimes. but i do worried that i might have Diabetes if i continue taking high sugar level food.
Milo used to be my best friend whenever i am sick or no appetite. The bad news now is, whenever i drink milo, i will 99% vomit. So .... it's like hell..right? Don't ever talk about milk or Anmum/ Enfamama. I'm sure it will be just wasted money if i buy those nutritient milk powder, like last time when i had Tanya...end up, i've thrown the whole tin of Enfamama away.
I have lost 2kg since my first visit to Gynae. Now i am only 46kg. I hope my morning sickness can end really soon and i don't mind to gain more weight so that my 2nd baby will be stronger than little Tanya :)

Bali trip - Villa Soma
Total 12 of us - Keith & Mei Ling, Hans & Ice, Elbert & Shirley, Brian & Ghobby, Soon Yu & Evelyn, and Ping Hun and myself. We had a 3 days 2 night luxury stay at this Villa Soma during our trip to Bali @ March 2010. Each night cost us USD500 but it's really worth it...check out some pictures that we took at the Villa.
It's really happening, right? :P
Sooner, my blog title may need to change...
Oh yes, another baby on his/ her way right per our plan :) .... he/ she is 5 weeks old now and i call him "lek lek" now :)
"Ann, Tanya, Lek Lek and Daddy's Blog" sound just nice ...though only me that updating the blog (....from time to time...) My life is back to "1st trimester" now, started to be extra careful on everything i do, surfing and still couldn't decide if should go for Enfa Mama or Anmum Materna? Still able to eat like normal diet...maybe more although i feel like vomit sometimes.. The only different is my waist seem growing very fast. It's only 5-6 weeks but i already can't fit in my old jeans :( I think i am going to become another "fat mama" very soon..
Tiring...yes, i started to feel very tire most of the time, and sleep like pig even it's just a afternoon nap. Tanya knows how to sayang "baby" by putting her face on my stomach after i told her 2-3 times that baby is inside.
I'm going to visit doctor Low again in next 2 weeks to have a detail check up... hopefully everyting is fine :)

美國媽媽如何教育孩子

儿子去美国留学，毕业后定居美国。还给我找了个洋媳妇苏珊。如今，小孙子托比已经3岁了。今年夏天，儿子为我申请了探亲签证。在美国待了三个月，洋媳妇苏珊教育孩子的方法，令我这个中国婆婆大开眼界。
不吃饭就饿着
每天早上，托比醒来后，苏珊把早餐往餐桌上一放，就自顾自地忙去了。托比会自己爬上凳子，喝牛奶，吃面包片。吃饱后，他回自己的房间，在衣柜里找衣服、鞋子，再自己穿上。毕竟托比只有3岁，还搞不清楚子的正反面，分不清鞋子的左右脚。有一次托比又把裤子穿反了，我赶紧上前想帮他换，却被苏珊制止了。她说，如果他觉得不舒服，会自己脱下来，重新穿好；如果他没觉得有什么不舒服，那就随他的便。那一整天，托比反穿着裤子跑来跑去，苏姗像没看见一样。 又一次，托比出去和邻居家的小朋友玩，没多大会就气喘吁吁地跑回家，对苏珊说：“妈妈，露西说我的裤子穿反了，真的吗？”露西是邻居家的小姑娘，今年5岁。苏姗笑着说：“是的，你要不要换回来？”托比点点头，自己脱下裤子，仔细看了看，重新穿上了。从那以后，托比再也没穿反过裤子。 我不禁想起，我的外孙女五六岁时不会用筷子，上小学时不会系鞋带。如今在上寄宿制初中的她，每个周末都要带回家一大堆脏衣服呢。
一天中午，托比闹情绪，不肯吃饭。苏珊说了他几句，愤怒地小托比一把将盘子推到了地上，盘子里的食物洒了一地。苏姗看着托比，认真地说：“看来你确实不想吃饭！记住，从现在到明天早上，你什么都不能吃。”托比点点头，坚定地回答：“Yes!”我在心里暗笑，这母子俩，还都挺倔！ 下午，苏珊和我商量，晚上由我做中国菜。我心领神会，托比告别爱吃中国菜，一定是苏珊觉得托比中午没好好吃饭，想让他晚上多吃点儿。 那天晚上我施展厨艺，做了托比最爱吃的糖醋里脊、油闷大虾，还用意大利面做了中国式的凉面。托比最喜欢吃那种凉面，小小的人可以吃满满一大盘。 开始吃晚饭了，托比欢天喜地地爬上凳子。苏珊却走过来，拿走了他的盘子和刀叉，说：“我们已经约好了，今天你不能吃饭，你自己也答应了的。”托比看着面容严肃的妈妈，“哇”地一声在哭起来，边哭边说：“妈妈，我饿，我要吃饭。”“不行，说过的话要算数。”苏珊毫不心软。 我心疼了，想替托比求情，说点好话，却见儿子对我使眼色。想起我刚到美国时，儿子就跟我说，在美国，父母教育孩子时，别人千万不要插手，即使是长辈也不例外。无奈，我只好保持沉默。 那顿饭，从始至终，可怜的小托比一直坐在玩具车里，眼巴巴地看着我们三个大人狼吞虎咽。我这才明白苏珊让我做中餐的真正用意。我相信，下一次，托比想发脾气扔饭碗时，一定会想起自己饿着肚子看爸爸妈妈和奶奶享用美食的经历。饿着肚子的滋味不好受，况且还是面对自己最喜爱的食物。 临睡前，我和苏珊一起去向托比道晚安。托比小心翼翼地问：“妈妈，我很饿，现在我能吃中国面吗？”苏珊微笑着摇摇头，坚决地说：“不！”托比叹了口气，又问：“那等我睡完觉睁开眼睛时，可以吃吗？”“当然可以。”苏珊温柔地回答。托比甜甜地笑了。
大部分情况下，托比吃饭都很积极，他不想因为“罢吃”而错过食物，再受饿肚子的苦。每当看到托比埋头大口大口地吃饭，嘴上脸上粘的都是食物时，我就想起外孙女。她像托比这么大时，为了哄她吃饭，几个大人端着饭碗跟在她屁股后面跑，她还不买账，还要谈条件：吃完这碗买一个玩具，再吃一碗买一个玩具……

有一天，我们带托比去公园玩。很快，托比就和两个女孩儿玩起了厨房游戏。塑料小锅、小铲子、小盘子、小碗摆了一地。忽然，淘气的托比拿起小锅，使劲在一个女孩儿头上敲了一下，女孩儿愣了一下，放声大哭。另一个女孩儿年纪更小一些，见些情形，也被吓得大哭起来。大概托比没想到会有这么严重的后果，站在一旁，愣住了。 苏珊走上前，开清了事情的来龙去脉后，她一声不吭，拿起小锅，使劲敲到托比的头上，托比没防备，一下子跌坐在草地上，哇哇大哭起来。苏珊问托比：“疼吗？下次还这样吗？”托比一边哭，一边拼命摇头。我相信他以后再也不会这么做了。
托比的舅舅送了他一辆浅蓝色的小自行车，托比非常喜欢，当成宝贝，不许别人碰。邻居小姑娘露西是托比的好朋友，央求托比好几次，要骑他的小车，托比都没答应。 一次，几个孩子一起玩时，露西趁托比不注意，偷偷骑上小车，扬长而去。托比发现后，气愤地跑来向苏珊告状。苏珊正和几个孩子的母亲一起聊天喝咖啡，便微笑着说：“你们的事情自己解决，妈妈可管不了。”托比无奈地走了。 过了一小会儿，露西骑着小车回来了。托比看到露西，一把将她推倒在地，抢过了小车。露西坐在地上大哭起来。苏珊抱起露西，安抚了她一会儿。很快，露西就和别的小朋友兴高采烈地玩了起来。 托比自己骑了会车，觉得有些无聊，看到那几个孩子玩得那么高兴，他想加入，又觉得有些不好意思。他蹭到苏珊身边，嘟囔道：“妈妈，我想跟露西他们一起玩。”苏珊不动声色地说：“那你自己去找他们啦！”“妈妈，你陪我一起去。”托比恳求道。“那可不行，刚才是你把露西弄哭的，现在你又想和大家玩，就得自己去解决问题。” 托比骑着小车慢慢靠近露西，快到她身边时，又掉头回来。来回好几次，不知道从什么时候开始，托比和露西又笑逐颜开，闹成了一团。
管教孩子是父母的事
苏珊的父母住在加利福尼亚州，听说我来了，两人开车来探望我们。家里来了客人，托比很兴奋，跑上跑下地乱窜。他把玩沙子用的小桶装满了水，提着小桶在屋里四处转悠。苏珊警告了她好几次，不要把水洒到地板上，托比置若罔闻。最后，托比还是把水桶弄倒了，水洒了一地。兴奋的小托比不觉得自己做错了事，还得意地光着脚丫踩水玩，把裤子全弄湿了。我连忙找出拖把准备拖地。苏珊从我手中抢过拖把交给托比，对他说：“把地拖干，把湿衣服脱下来，自己洗干净。”托比不愿意，又哭又闹。苏珊二话不说，直接把他拉到贮藏室，关了禁闭。听到托比在里面发出惊天动地的哭喊，我心疼坏了，想进去把他抱出来。托比的外婆却拦住我，说：“这是苏珊的事。” 过了一会儿，托比不哭了，他在贮藏室里大声喊：“妈妈，我错了。”苏珊站在门外，问：“那你知道该怎么做了吗？”“我知道。”苏珊打开门，托比从贮藏室走出来，脸上还挂着两行泪珠。他拿起有他两个高的拖把吃力地把地上的水拖干净。然后，他脱下裤子，拎在手上，光着屁股走进洗手间，稀里哗啦地洗起衣服来。 托比的外公外婆看着表情惊异的我，意味深长地笑了。这件事让我感触颇深。在很多中国家庭，父母管教孩子时，常常会引起“世界大战”，往往是外婆外公护，爷爷奶奶拦，夫妻吵架，鸡飞狗跳。

儿子去美国留学，毕业后定居美国。还给我找了个洋媳妇苏珊。如今，小孙子托比已经3岁了。今年夏天，儿子为我申请了探亲签证。在美国待了三个月，洋媳妇苏珊教育孩子的方法，令我这个中国婆婆大开眼界。
不吃饭就饿着
每天早上，托比醒来后，苏珊把早餐往餐桌上一放，就自顾自地忙去了。托比会自己爬上凳子，喝牛奶，吃面包片。吃饱后，他回自己的房间，在衣柜里找衣服、鞋子，再自己穿上。毕竟托比只有3岁，还搞不清楚子的正反面，分不清鞋子的左右脚。有一次托比又把裤子穿反了，我赶紧上前想帮他换，却被苏珊制止了。她说，如果他觉得不舒服，会自己脱下来，重新穿好；如果他没觉得有什么不舒服，那就随他的便。那一整天，托比反穿着裤子跑来跑去，苏姗像没看见一样。 又一次，托比出去和邻居家的小朋友玩，没多大会就气喘吁吁地跑回家，对苏珊说：“妈妈，露西说我的裤子穿反了，真的吗？”露西是邻居家的小姑娘，今年5岁。苏姗笑着说：“是的，你要不要换回来？”托比点点头，自己脱下裤子，仔细看了看，重新穿上了。从那以后，托比再也没穿反过裤子。 我不禁想起，我的外孙女五六岁时不会用筷子，上小学时不会系鞋带。如今在上寄宿制初中的她，每个周末都要带回家一大堆脏衣服呢。
一天中午，托比闹情绪，不肯吃饭。苏珊说了他几句，愤怒地小托比一把将盘子推到了地上，盘子里的食物洒了一地。苏姗看着托比，认真地说：“看来你确实不想吃饭！记住，从现在到明天早上，你什么都不能吃。”托比点点头，坚定地回答：“Yes!”我在心里暗笑，这母子俩，还都挺倔！ 下午，苏珊和我商量，晚上由我做中国菜。我心领神会，托比告别爱吃中国菜，一定是苏珊觉得托比中午没好好吃饭，想让他晚上多吃点儿。 那天晚上我施展厨艺，做了托比最爱吃的糖醋里脊、油闷大虾，还用意大利面做了中国式的凉面。托比最喜欢吃那种凉面，小小的人可以吃满满一大盘。 开始吃晚饭了，托比欢天喜地地爬上凳子。苏珊却走过来，拿走了他的盘子和刀叉，说：“我们已经约好了，今天你不能吃饭，你自己也答应了的。”托比看着面容严肃的妈妈，“哇”地一声在哭起来，边哭边说：“妈妈，我饿，我要吃饭。”“不行，说过的话要算数。”苏珊毫不心软。 我心疼了，想替托比求情，说点好话，却见儿子对我使眼色。想起我刚到美国时，儿子就跟我说，在美国，父母教育孩子时，别人千万不要插手，即使是长辈也不例外。无奈，我只好保持沉默。 那顿饭，从始至终，可怜的小托比一直坐在玩具车里，眼巴巴地看着我们三个大人狼吞虎咽。我这才明白苏珊让我做中餐的真正用意。我相信，下一次，托比想发脾气扔饭碗时，一定会想起自己饿着肚子看爸爸妈妈和奶奶享用美食的经历。饿着肚子的滋味不好受，况且还是面对自己最喜爱的食物。 临睡前，我和苏珊一起去向托比道晚安。托比小心翼翼地问：“妈妈，我很饿，现在我能吃中国面吗？”苏珊微笑着摇摇头，坚决地说：“不！”托比叹了口气，又问：“那等我睡完觉睁开眼睛时，可以吃吗？”“当然可以。”苏珊温柔地回答。托比甜甜地笑了。
大部分情况下，托比吃饭都很积极，他不想因为“罢吃”而错过食物，再受饿肚子的苦。每当看到托比埋头大口大口地吃饭，嘴上脸上粘的都是食物时，我就想起外孙女。她像托比这么大时，为了哄她吃饭，几个大人端着饭碗跟在她屁股后面跑，她还不买账，还要谈条件：吃完这碗买一个玩具，再吃一碗买一个玩具……
以其人之道，还治其人这身
有一天，我们带托比去公园玩。很快，托比就和两个女孩儿玩起了厨房游戏。塑料小锅、小铲子、小盘子、小碗摆了一地。忽然，淘气的托比拿起小锅，使劲在一个女孩儿头上敲了一下，女孩儿愣了一下，放声大哭。另一个女孩儿年纪更小一些，见些情形，也被吓得大哭起来。大概托比没想到会有这么严重的后果，站在一旁，愣住了。 苏珊走上前，开清了事情的来龙去脉后，她一声不吭，拿起小锅，使劲敲到托比的头上，托比没防备，一下子跌坐在草地上，哇哇大哭起来。苏珊问托比：“疼吗？下次还这样吗？”托比一边哭，一边拼命摇头。我相信他以后再也不会这么做了。
托比的舅舅送了他一辆浅蓝色的小自行车，托比非常喜欢，当成宝贝，不许别人碰。邻居小姑娘露西是托比的好朋友，央求托比好几次，要骑他的小车，托比都没答应。 一次，几个孩子一起玩时，露西趁托比不注意，偷偷骑上小车，扬长而去。托比发现后，气愤地跑来向苏珊告状。苏珊正和几个孩子的母亲一起聊天喝咖啡，便微笑着说：“你们的事情自己解决，妈妈可管不了。”托比无奈地走了。 过了一小会儿，露西骑着小车回来了。托比看到露西，一把将她推倒在地，抢过了小车。露西坐在地上大哭起来。苏珊抱起露西，安抚了她一会儿。很快，露西就和别的小朋友兴高采烈地玩了起来。 托比自己骑了会车，觉得有些无聊，看到那几个孩子玩得那么高兴，他想加入，又觉得有些不好意思。他蹭到苏珊身边，嘟囔道：“妈妈，我想跟露西他们一起玩。”苏珊不动声色地说：“那你自己去找他们啦！”“妈妈，你陪我一起去。”托比恳求道。“那可不行，刚才是你把露西弄哭的，现在你又想和大家玩，就得自己去解决问题。” 托比骑着小车慢慢靠近露西，快到她身边时，又掉头回来。来回好几次，不知道从什么时候开始，托比和露西又笑逐颜开，闹成了一团。
管教孩子是父母的事
苏珊的父母住在加利福尼亚州，听说我来了，两人开车来探望我们。家里来了客人，托比很兴奋，跑上跑下地乱窜。他把玩沙子用的小桶装满了水，提着小桶在屋里四处转悠。苏珊警告了她好几次，不要把水洒到地板上，托比置若罔闻。最后，托比还是把水桶弄倒了，水洒了一地。兴奋的小托比不觉得自己做错了事，还得意地光着脚丫踩水玩，把裤子全弄湿了。我连忙找出拖把准备拖地。苏珊从我手中抢过拖把交给托比，对他说：“把地拖干，把湿衣服脱下来，自己洗干净。”托比不愿意，又哭又闹。苏珊二话不说，直接把他拉到贮藏室，关了禁闭。听到托比在里面发出惊天动地的哭喊，我心疼坏了，想进去把他抱出来。托比的外婆却拦住我，说：“这是苏珊的事。” 过了一会儿，托比不哭了，他在贮藏室里大声喊：“妈妈，我错了。”苏珊站在门外，问：“那你知道该怎么做了吗？”“我知道。”苏珊打开门，托比从贮藏室走出来，脸上还挂着两行泪珠。他拿起有他两个高的拖把吃力地把地上的水拖干净。然后，他脱下裤子，拎在手上，光着屁股走进洗手间，稀里哗啦地洗起衣服来。 托比的外公外婆看着表情惊异的我，意味深长地笑了。这件事让我感触颇深。在很多中国家庭，父母管教孩子时，常常会引起“世界大战”，往往是外婆外公护，爷爷奶奶拦，夫妻吵架，鸡飞狗跳。

New job, new life
Woo.... i haven't been blogging for quite some time, huh?
Well, PG7 officially light down at w21, 2010, that's is the place that i've been working for 5 years++... started with a Supervisor, follow by Cycle Time/IDM MSE, MI....and end up i am now in PGAT, still 'struggling' in this MI role. :P
Well, i guess my hardest and toughest time end by changing a new boss. I used to had migraine when i first on board back at w16, 2010. Whenever my working day, i woke up with migraine and pain. 2 of my collegues encounter hair drop, and it's not like 地中海's style...It's one hole at any part of your head, and no hair at all inside the circle..Scary right?
Thank GOD that finally Mr. Cruel had change to become IC and Miss. OK is on board :)..so now i am more happy la, with running permanent day shift ( Sunday half day, Mon- Wed), i can have more time to take care of Tanya and earn some OT sometimes :)

Thanks to FB, i got 51 wishes this year LOL
HAHAHA.... i have to start this blogging with this LOL....
This is the first year i ever receive so many birthday wishes....total 51 from facebook and 9 from sms and phone...and of course two FTF wishes - my hubby and baby tanya ( haha, i treat Tanya wishes me already as i ask her to kiss my cheek).
Well, facebook....
powerful communication tools, when my birthday auto show up in the reminder column, then i started to receive posts at my wall.....after i count count, it's all 51!!!! and at the same time i got to know there are some ppl sharing this special days with me, which is Jeff and Sam Teoh. :)
i send Tanya back to mum's house and spend my birthday night go "pak tor" with my hubby and we watch this very funny 72 tenants movie....haha, i really like that movie so much that i'd buy 1 DVD and keep sot hat i can laugh anytime i want...
So, happy 28th birthday to myself :)

Counting down - 2010 Bali trip
7 days to go......hahaha.... We've been waited for nearly a year for this trip to come. We booked the free flight ticket somewhere May last year, and all we need to pay is the airport tax which cost us RM150 per pax for 2 ways PEN-->KL--> BALI flight. hehehe
and we will be staying there for 7 days...and and also, we will stay at the beautiful Villa Soma, check it out--> it will be stunning!! http://www.villasomabali.com/ of course, the price is USD500 per night for super low season...play play.
total 12 of us will go for the same trip, and we will all stay in the same Villa for 3 days ( share share the bill), of course some of them are thinking ~RM1700 each ( exclude flight ticket, everything else included) is a very expensive trip, but we are going to stay in a 'one-in-a-life time' Villa.....how cold is that.
Well, i will blog about it when we capture some photos of party in Villa and bring back and share with you all.....stay tune :)

Detoxification
When we see Sim and Li Fern are slimming down real fast, Soon Yu, hubby and I started to ask around what is their secret to successfully cut down weight.... so at last we knew it's all about detox.
Sim was forwarding a package with total of 19 days detox program to us, this AGAP ATP program is really extreme, i just worry i might fainted at production floor while half way walking since need to stop eating ( except fruit juice and water) for 9 entire days. i think by then i am not detox only, i will be send to hospital because of extreme gastrict..... :P
So, i continue search thru the web and i found this detox program, which i think it's super suitable for me....haha, no need to top eating anything!!! It's the Juvanex Detox program. All u need is to walk into Watson or Guardiance and buy the 7 days package which cost you RM128 ( i read from the blogs that Guardiance will be a lot more expensive, they price is additional RM30 extra); it's available in powder or sacket form, mix into fruit juice and take twice a day......
ok, i decided to start after my Bali trip next week. i will persuade hubby to start together with me and we will have mild diet as well....reduce weight at the same time marching to a more healthy life...Yeah!!

Counting down......
guess what i am counting right now? how many days to CNY? to my Birthday..?? No no no.....I'am counting down to Tanya First Birthday :)
Well, a few weeks later, she is no longer a baby but toddler... She started to stand by her own and walked few steps without holding anyone/ anything. and her first cute little tooth started to come out....and i hope she can have more teeth sooner so that she can enjoy meat/ vegetables etc...chew them into smaller pieces before swallow.....
looking forward ya..... ;)

I am lucky
I guess i am lucky enough recently. I've got 3 lucky draws; hair dryer at the annual dinner function, codeless phone for Q3 output max and now i've got the juice extractor for Q4 output max :) It's not big/ valuable gift, but it's a good start from perosn that dind'y get any lucky draw for entire 4 and the half year.

Babies gathering...
Last Saturday, our house had a babies gathering and mini photograph session.
Ping Hun’s friend – Mee yean and Saw Eng brought their baby boy – Noel and Max and Swee Heng actually bring along Bryan to join this gathering.
I’ve never imagine my house will have so many babies at the same time….and guess what? They are all “cow boys and cow girl” and their birthday is all varies by 3-4 week only.
3 boys + 1 girl…and my living room turn to their play ground…and of course very messy after they all left :P
They shouted, crawling, Noel already started to walk, starring at each other, and ‘share’ toys…………Well, they actually exchange toys as they already bored bout their own toys…hahaha!~
Tanya was excited at the beginning since new friends were visiting her. But after a while, while the boys all started to show their color, she is actually frightening and got scared when they were shouting.. ( and indeed they shouted very loud)
She become very quite and only want me or her daddy to carry and no body touches her.
I used to think Tanya act like a boy due to her activeness and always like to shout to others….but Now I really feel Tanya is so nice and gentle, and she is definitely a girl if compare to those boys… :D hahahaha
I think we should plan for another session during CNY :) must be fun though.

Tanya is getting naughtier...
Last night, when I tried to clean her and changed her to Pajama, as usual I will pass her something to grab and play with so that she won't turn around. The thing that she is holding yesterday is the Johnson baby oil bottle.
She likes to put the bottle in her mouth and yesterday as usual….when I pulled out the bottle, she shouted and cried. When Ping Hun scolded her, she cried even louder and start to kick kick…she is getting more naughty now..and my mum told me that Tanya actually trying to hit her back when she "bantai" her at her hand last week…
How should I ensure I give correct guidance to her, at the same time make her baby life a happy one? Hmm…I think I should read more articles/ books related to this topic.

size 4 found!! bought 4 pairs..

Finally I able to find my size 4 shoes at Prangin Mall Vincci…That also means that QBM Vincci staff lie to me as she said after she checked at 'computer', there is no more size 4 at all branches in Penang…make me piss off. Luckily Ping Hun insist we should go and have a look at Prangin Mall…
So I manage to get my self 4 pairs of new shoes for CNY :) hehe….
- 1 red shoes (shiny red) which I bought it at QBM, which only less 20%.... Which I like it very much but worried not much clothes can match to it. RM 42.40
- 1 navy blue color 松高鞋, which cost me RM69, but I have 30% off that Padini send me as a member's rewards on my Birthday. RM48.30
- 2 beige color 50% high heel which I like it very much last time. But due to no less, that's y I only bought yesterday… RM37.50+ RM 39.90
So total is RM168 for 4 pairs of new and nice shoes…how good is that :) hehe…long time I never have this good feeling……I actually love shoes!~

size 4 size 4...where r U?
Why Vincci Shoes has limited pair for size 4? I could't find any preferred shoes that fit me after i went to Gurney and QBM, will try Prangin tonight!!!!

New car seat - sweet cherry again
But this time is consider high line product, cause it cost us RM299....
but it is actually worth the price when we saw Tanya feel so comfortable sitting on this car seat. She even fall asleep ( so far this is her 2nd time on this car seat) everytime she sat on this car seat.
She can sit on this car seat until she is 18kg, and based on her size, that would be at least 4-5 years old :)
So, from now on, our citi can only carry 4 person the max..since this car seat is so bulky..

Batu Ferringhi beach
Last Saturday, we brought Tanya to Flamingo hotel to visit grandma, mum and 3 yee's family which they had a free suite for weekend rest and relax purposes.
Tanya was so excited when she saw the colorful parachute and the crowd by the seaside. Check out her beach hat that we bought for her @ US which only cost $3 :)
Well, she is 100% daddy's girl now, and whenever we go out together, she only wants her daddy to carry.......

Tanya first cheong sam
We found this cute little cheong sam at Jusco, QBM last sunday. It costs us RM45, which i think is expensive with such material.....what to do, this is her first Cheong Sam and she is going to wear it at CNY :) gong xi gong xi.....

My wedding ring was broken - cost me RM500
It only last for 1 year plus and my wedding was breaking into 2 piece :(
At fist, i felt that it doesn't big deal since i can easily go back to Habib Jewel to get them service for me since newly bought. Who knows i need to buy a new ring casing that cost me RM500 :(:(:( After trade in tthe old broken ring, i still need to pay RM380 . . . .
OH NO!!!
I thought is free one.... It's only 1 year plus....i think i need to pay extra care to my brand new rign dee ( except the diamond is not new :P)
The QBM Habib Jewel is very "au", not pro at all, they don't even have the microscope for customer to check the series number in the diamond...my husband and I nearly "mata sepek" while trying to look at the series number thru 10x and 20x scope yesterday...kek sim!

my hubby and I went to Jalan Tengah for lunch just now. We were sitting under the hot sun ( under the unbrella) and he was enjoying his duck rice while i was eating the famour Mee Jawa goreng.
Out of sudden, we heard some sound ( the fart sound), and when both of us turn our head to my back....there is a "gentleman" sitting right behind me farting!!!!! while he was eating his econ rice....GOSH!!!!
After he finished his meal, he just stand up, without wiping his mouth also ( since i can see 满嘴油光）, 猥猥琐琐的离开..... so bo akai, and i can't finish my mee goreng...... yiaks!~

Bak Chang from Sg. Ara market
Enjoying bak chang now, the egg yolk is so nice although high cholesterol. It's best while eat with "tupai brand" chili source. Brought from Sg. Ara market which cost me RM3.20....i remember last time bak chang only RM1.80 :P
